Elderberry– Elderberry is likely safe to take while breastfeeding, but there have been no significant studies that show the effects of elderberry on breastfeeding infants or production of breastmilk.

Propolis– Propolis is commonly used in a throat spray to relieve sore throat. It is likely to be safe when used orally. According to the Infant Risk Center, propolis (300 mg daily) was used for 4-10 months in one study with no adverse effects on breastfed infants.
