Testimonials
Diana was an absolute heaven sent! We tried several lactation consultants and she was by far the most caring and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed with her and she always went above and beyond to help our baby and breastfeeding journey. Our son loved her. She helped him learn to feed and gain the weight he really needed. My husband and I are beyond grateful for her and highly recommend her.
Diana is so great! If you're looking for a lactation consultant, you're in the right spot! I have issues with low supply and she was able to very quickly schedule with me and come out to my home and assess me and baby and start on a treatment plan. She has been very consistent in following up and specific in all of her care plan treatment ideas. I have met with her again and followed up weekly. Can't say enough about how great in person centered she is!

Do you have in-home, office and virtual lactation consults?
I offer in-home lactation consults. Virtual visits can be done from anywhere.
What areas do you serve?
I travel to Henry, Butts, Spalding, Rockdale and Newton County.
What is included in a consult?
During our consult, I will assess a feeding, as well as assess you and your baby as needed. I will listen to any questions and concerns that you have and address them. Together, we will decide on a plan to help you meet your goals. After our visit, I will send a copy of the care plan with links and videos so that you are comfortable with the steps needed to keep moving forward toward your goals.
How does the lactation consult work?
I will send an intake form ahead of time for you to fill out so that you can tell me more about how feedings are going and allow you to list out any questions that you have. At an in-home consult, I will weigh your baby and observe a feeding session. We will re-weigh your baby after the feeding to see how much your baby is eating. I will assess your baby’s mouth and how the body is moving to identify factors that are contributing to breastfeeding difficulty. Permission will always be asked before any assessment to ensure that you are comfortable. We will discuss your questions and make sure that you feel comfortable with what to do next.
Can you help with tongue ties, low milk supply, pumping, and bottle feeding?
I have taken courses focused on helping babies with tongue ties and can help with getting your baby to feed comfortably. I help mothers with determining the root cause of low milk supply and work to increase milk supply. Pumping assistance is offered, with help on how to use your pump, a plan for pumping and finding a flange size. Assistance with choosing a bottle, feeding a bottle and storage/handling of milk is offered.
